The certified products include three types and five items: liquid tea, fruit and vegetable juices, and jams produced at the Agricultural Products Comprehensive Processing Support Center.
The county established the Agricultural Products Comprehensive Processing Support Center within the Ttangkkeut Haenam Food Specialization Complex to assist small-scale agricultural entrepreneurs in processing and commercializing agricultural products produced by farms.
The center is equipped with 71 machines capable of processing 54 types of products into powder, granules, juice, jam, etc., and the processed agricultural products can be commercialized under the joint brand "Ttangkkeutirang."
Additionally, through research utilizing Haenam-gun’s representative agricultural products such as rice, chestnuts, pumpkins, and seasoning vegetables, three items have been commercialized, and remarkable achievements include pursuing technology patent registration for two cases.
So far, 28 processed products have been commercialized, achieving sales of 120 million won this year, effectively serving as an incubator for agricultural processing startups.
In particular, by systematically conducting expert consulting and training to establish a safety system from production to consumption, the center has obtained HACCP certification, which is expected to further enhance the image and consumer trust of Ttangkkeutirang processed products.
