Gwangyang Senior Welfare Center Signs Business Agreement for Social Contribution Activities with Companies
Mutual Commitment to Enhance Welfare and Quality of Life for Elderly Residents in the Community
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang Senior Welfare Center announced that it has signed a business cooperation agreement with three local companies.
This agreement was established to share each party's talents and capabilities to promote the welfare and improve the quality of life of the elderly in the region. The three participating companies are Maroclean Cooperative (CEO Hwang In-cheol), NS Info Co., Ltd. (CEO Jo Jeong-hwan), and Momo Co., Ltd. (CEO Seong Gwang-suk).
The three companies plan to carry out social contribution activities to improve the living environment for elderly single-person households recommended by Gwangyang Senior Welfare Center. Maroclean Cooperative will be responsible for cleaning and disinfection, NS Info Co., Ltd. will handle appliance repair and electrical wiring organization, and Momo Co., Ltd. will take charge of organizing and storing living spaces.
Jo Jeong-hwan, CEO of NS Info Co., Ltd., said, "I am glad to participate in a meaningful cause using my talents," and added, "We will do our best to improve the living environment of the elderly in the region by joining forces with the participating companies."
Ahn Yumi, team leader of the Senior Welfare Center, said, "We are pleased to be able to help with parts that the elderly find difficult to resolve on their own through this agreement," and expressed gratitude to the companies that joined together to improve the comfortable living environment of the elderly despite the socially and economically difficult times.

Meanwhile, the three companies visited a single elderly household living in Indong-ri, Gwangyang-eup, on the 28th of last month to carry out volunteer activities such as thorough cleaning, disinfection, and electrical wiring organization. They plan to continue these activities for one household each month.
