Boseong-gun Delivers Love Rice Collected from Everyone to Underprivileged Groups
Boseong-eup Hope Dream Council Successfully Holds 'Sharing Love Rice' Event
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Cheon-seok] The Boseong-eup Hope Dream Council in Boseong-gun (co-chairmen Jo Young-woo and Lim Kwang-ho) announced on the 17th that the rice collected through the "Sharing Love Rice" event held on the 16th at the Boseong-eup Administrative Welfare Center was delivered to local social welfare facilities and vulnerable groups.
The "Sharing Love Rice" event, which began on October 1, saw active participation from local residents, institutions, and organizations, resulting in a donation of 6,790 kg (339 bags/20 kg each) of rice. The collected rice was distributed to 16 social welfare facilities, 48 senior centers, and 35 vulnerable households in welfare blind spots within the area.
The Boseong-eup Hope Dream Council actively promoted the "Sharing Love Rice" event by placing promotional banners and sponsorship application forms at the entrance of the civil service office, which residents frequently visit, to help revitalize the campaign.
Jo Young-woo, mayor of Boseong-eup, said, "We thank everyone who participated in this rice sharing event, and we will continue to strive to identify welfare blind spots to ensure that no marginalized neighbors are left behind."
