View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Changwon City in Gyeongnam Province will operate the first drive-thru screening clinic in the province at Changwon Sports Park starting from the 17th.
This is an extraordinary measure to break the chain of the third wave of COVID-19 as the number of asymptomatic and infection route unknown patients increases.
The drive-thru screening clinic is set up behind the indoor swimming pool at Changwon Sports Park. Anonymous testing is possible by simply submitting a mobile phone number from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays and weekends.
This is expected to alleviate the inconvenience of citizens waiting in the cold and enable early detection of potential confirmed cases through rapid testing and expanded testing capacity.
Local public health centers also offer anonymous testing regardless of symptoms from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
