Kumho Tire Invests 59.6 Billion Won in Polish Subsidiary
Kumho Tire will invest approximately 59.6 billion won in its Polish subsidiary, which serves as its European production base. The purpose of this investment is to smoothly support the initial operations of its plant in Poland.
On May 14, Kumho Tire announced that its board of directors has decided to acquire 2,891,217 shares of its Polish subsidiary, Kumho Tire Poland Sp. z o.o., through a cash investment. The acquisition amount is 59,629,900,000 won. This represents 2.7% of Kumho Tire's consolidated equity of 2,238.7 billion won as of the end of 2025. The scheduled acquisition date is June 12.

Once this investment is completed, the number of Kumho Tire Poland shares held by Kumho Tire will increase to 6,540,952, resulting in a 100% ownership stake. Kumho Tire Poland is a Polish tire manufacturing and sales company with a capital of 75,273,960,000 won. Kumho Tire explained that the purpose of this investment is "to support the smooth initial operation of the European (Polish) plant."
