Germany Reports Record High of 952 Daily COVID-19 Deaths

According to foreign media on the 16th, the daily COVID-19 death toll in Germany was 952. This is the highest number of daily deaths since the outbreak of COVID-19 in Germany last March.
As COVID-19 cases surged recently, Germany implemented strengthened lockdown measures from this day until the 10th of next month. Only essential businesses such as supermarkets, pharmacies, and banks remain open, while most stores and schools are closed.
