Dongui University Presents Scholarship Certificates to 'Blood Donation Scholarship Students'
Busan Blood Center Awards Scholarships to 18 People Including Yang Jae-hoon from Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering Who Donated Blood 11 Times This Year

Dong-Eui University (President Han Su-hwan) Regional Collaboration Center (Director Yoon Hyun-seo) and the Korean Red Cross Busan Blood Center (Director Jo Ho-gyu) held the ‘Blood Donation Scholarship Certificate Award Ceremony’ on December 16 at 10 a.m. in Seminar Room 708 of the Medical Health Building.
At the event, Busan Blood Center’s Nurse Team Leader Lee Eun-joo, Support Team Leader Kim Yong-man, Dong-Eui University Regional Collaboration Center Director Yoon Hyun-seo, and blood donation scholarship representatives including Yang Jae-hoon from the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and Park Jae-hyun majoring in Architectural Engineering, who donated blood 11 times this year, attended.
The Busan Blood Center awarded scholarships of 200,000 KRW each to 18 Dong-Eui University students.
From November 2 to 20, the Dong-Eui University Regional Collaboration Center and the Korean Red Cross Busan Blood Center conducted the ‘40th Dong-Eui Family Neighbor Love Blood Donation Relay’ at the Blood Donation House Dong-Eui University Center (Room 112, Life Science Building), with 822 students and faculty members participating, including 626 whole blood donors and 196 plasma donors.
Dong-Eui University was the first university in the Busan area to open a Blood Donation House and has been holding blood donation relays every semester since the second semester of 1999.

Since the first Dong-Eui Family Neighbor Love Blood Donation Relay in 1999, a total of 48,326 people have participated in life-sharing through the 40th blood donation relay.
