Namwon-si Selected for 'Traditional Market Parking Environment Improvement Project' Contest
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Namwon City, Jeonbuk announced on the 16th that it has been selected for the ‘2021 Traditional Market Parking Environment Improvement Project’ hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, securing a total project cost of 85 million KRW.
The public parking lot at Yongnam Market had long waiting times as customers had to take parking tickets themselves, causing blockage of the two-lane road and increasing the risk of traffic accidents. Additionally, payment was only possible in cash, causing ongoing inconvenience to customers.
With this selection, an unmanned payment system will be installed at the parking lot entrance, improving customer convenience for entering and exiting the parking lot, and enabling easy and fast payment via credit card, cash, or pay services.
Furthermore, the parking management server will manage information on all vehicles entering and exiting the parking lot, providing clear usage statistics to ensure transparent sales management, reducing labor costs, and enhancing the efficiency of parking lot operations.
