Korea Financial Group announced on the 16th that it will implement organizational restructuring and regular executive appointments for its affiliates effective January 1 next year. He has played key roles at major turning points for the group, including mergers, serving as Managing Director of Korea Investment Financial Group’s Management Support Office, Executive Director of Korea Investment Securities’ Corporate Planning Headquarters, and Chief Operating Officer (Vice President) of Korea Investment Trust Management.
Hwang Man-soon, the new CEO of Korea Investment Partners, is a notable figure as the first case of a pharmacist transforming into a bio-investment venture capitalist. To reinforce the platform business, the existing eBiz Headquarters’ planning and development teams and the MINT (Mobile Investment) department were merged into the 'Digital Platform Headquarters,' which reports directly to the CEO. Furthermore, new departments were established: the IB Strategy Consulting Department for IB group strategy formulation, synergy, and content enhancement; the M&A Acquisition Finance 3 Department to strengthen M&A and governance restructuring sales capabilities; the Development Finance and Project Finance departments for PF investments; and an Alternative Investment department.
