Hwahae Launches 'Clean Hwahae Campaign' for Healthy Beauty Habits
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Jeong-hwa] Birdview Co., Ltd., which operates the beauty app ‘Hwahae,’ has launched the ‘Clean Hwahae Campaign’ to support my own healthy beauty lifestyle for the year-end and New Year holidays.
The Clean Hwahae Campaign, released through the app on the 15th, is conducted over three weeks under the slogan ‘KEEP THE CLEAN,’ proposing three programs to protect skin health and the environment and promote sustainable beauty habits: ▲Clean Review ▲Clean Beauty ▲Clean Life.
This campaign was planned with the intention that consumers proactively create a beautiful and healthy daily life, and that these habits can have a positive impact on the beauty industry.
First, ‘Clean Review’ is a participatory event designed to convey Hwahae’s efforts to maintain honest and useful reviews from actual product users and to encourage participation in the ‘Clean Review Promise.’ By leaving a comment expressing the commitment to write honest reviews within the Hwahae app, participants will be entered into a draw to receive Hwahae points worth a total of 2 million KRW as a ‘Life Item Discovery Support Fund.’
Since its service launch in 2013, Hwahae has filtered out fake reviews by applying its own algorithm and having a dedicated team verify all registered reviews. Through this Clean Review Promise event, Hwahae plans to enhance the trustworthiness of reviews, which form the foundation of its service, and expand Hwahae’s unique value created together with users.
‘Clean Beauty’ is a prize event that supports anyone to easily experience representative products from clean beauty brands that consider skin health and the environment. After checking Hwahae’s recommended products from clean beauty brands that exclude harmful ingredients to skin and environment and fulfill ethical responsibilities in the manufacturing process, leaving a comment will enter participants into a draw to receive a clean beauty experience kit. The clean beauty kit offered as a prize will include various skincare and makeup products from brands such as Round Around, Abib, Reduce, and Keepin Touch.
‘Clean Life’ invites participants to share their own healthy lifestyle habits in comments amid increasing homebound life due to ongoing social distancing, with a chance to win a home training set as a gift through a draw. Additionally, during the campaign period, adding Hwahae’s KakaoTalk channel as a friend will grant the first 30,000 people a limited edition KakaoTalk emoticon of the popular content ‘Reality Home Training’ in the Hwahae app’s ‘BeautyON’ category for free.
Birdview CEO Lee Woong said, “This year has been particularly full of changes, but we prepared the ‘Clean Hwahae’ campaign with the hope that everyone creates their own healthy beauty life through Hwahae and continues it as a sustainable habit,” adding, “I hope people choose products for themselves and the environment based on honest and transparent reviews provided by Hwahae this year-end, and experience cultivating themselves with better lifestyle habits.”
