[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Hannam University announced on the 16th that it has signed a business agreement with Daedeok District Office to participate in the district's 'Green New Deal Campaign.' The agreement centers on the university operating a 'Meatless Day' once a week in the campus cafeteria and practicing initiatives such as 'using wooden toothbrushes' and 'deleting unnecessary emails' to reduce plastic use and greenhouse gas emissions as part of the Green Life campaign.
