POSCO Construction, Actor Kim Soo-hyun as The Sharp Model
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] POSCO E&C announced on the 16th that actor Kim Soo-hyun has been selected as the new advertising model for The Sharp. This marks the first time in 10 years that a new advertising model has been appointed, following actor Jang Dong-gun, who served as The Sharp's advertising model for 10 years until 2011.
POSCO E&C explained that Kim Soo-hyun was chosen because he embodies the image that best fits the core values of The Sharp, an apartment brand committed to fundamentals.
Kim Soo-hyun, who starred in hit dramas such as "Moon Embracing the Sun," "My Love from the Star," and "It's Okay to Not Be Okay," rose to the top star status by portraying a cool and considerate male figure.
POSCO E&C expects that Kim Soo-hyun’s thorough self-management and image of giving his best will well represent The Sharp’s residential philosophy of "striving for customer satisfaction as the essence of housing."
The advertisements featuring Kim Soo-hyun have been displayed since the 11th on outdoor billboards in major Seoul areas such as Noryangjin and Samseong-dong, as well as on city buses and major subway stations.
Through POSCO E&C’s online channel "The Sharp TV," making-of films of Kim Soo-hyun’s commercial shoots will also be released along with customer participation events.
