20 Vietnamese Students Confirmed in Bulk at Boryeong Aju Automobile College Dormitory (Update)

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Juhee] On the 16th, 20 foreign students in Boryeong-si, Chungnam were confirmed positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
According to Boryeong-si, 20 Vietnamese students (Boryeong Nos. 36 to 55) living in the dormitory of Aju Automobile College tested positive for COVID-19 on that day.
After Vietnamese student A (Boryeong No. 35) was confirmed positive on the 14th, the city conducted COVID-19 tests on 162 people, including 67 foreign students, 131 dormitory residents, and 31 faculty and staff members.
The nationalities of the tested foreign students were 59 Vietnamese, 7 Uzbekistani, and 1 Thai. The city also announced that tests for the remaining approximately 300 dormitory residents would be conducted on the same day.
