Imsil Bonghwang Talent Academy to Select Students for Next Year's Academy Consignment Program
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Jeonbuk Imsil Bonghwang Talent Academy will accept applications from the 16th to the 18th for the selection of students for the first half of 2021 academy consignment program.
The Bonghwang Talent Academy consignment program is being promoted to provide equal educational opportunities to low-income, multicultural, and large-family students, as well as students who were not selected for the Bonghwang Talent Academy but are next in line.
The number of students to be selected in the first half is 40 elementary school students and 67 middle school students in the district, totaling 107 students.
Eligibility requires that as of the application submission date, at least one guardian must have resident registration in Imsil-gun, and the student must be enrolled in an elementary or middle school within the district.
The successful candidates will be announced on the Imsil-gun website on the 28th, and the selected students will receive consigned classes at local tutoring and arts academies for six months from January 4 to June 30 next year. Middle school students will choose one subject among Korean, Math, and English, while elementary students will choose one subject among Art and Music.

Meanwhile, starting next year, in addition to the existing benefits, the current academy consignment program will add arts subjects (Art, Music) for elementary students, and will support 100,000 KRW per month for academy fees.
