Gwangyang-si Operates 'Joint Design Team' for Prompt Execution
Promoting Budget Savings, Technical Information Sharing, Design, and Work Efficiency Improvement
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Gwangyang City announced that it will operate a joint design team for the rapid execution of small-scale resident wish projects next year to quickly improve residents' farming environments and resolve inconveniences in daily life.
The joint design team is led by the Director of the Safety City Bureau and consists of 25 technical public officials from the city hall and eup/myeon/dong offices. They plan to complete the survey and measurement of 194 design targets (3.5 billion KRW) by the end of this month, finish the designs by the end of January next year, and proceed with the orders.
The city expects that by operating the joint design team and designing independently, it will save about 210 million KRW in budget, as well as provide an opportunity for new technical public officials to share technical information and improve their design and work capabilities.
