Gwangju Nam-gu to Hold 'Online College Admission Regular Decision Briefing' on the 17th

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (Mayor Kim Byeong-nae) announced on the 15th that it will hold an ‘Online College Entrance Regular Admission Briefing Session’ on the 17th.
Nam-gu has inevitably switched from the existing face-to-face briefing session to an online college entrance regular admission briefing session due to the strengthened social distancing measures in response to COVID-19.
The online college entrance regular admission briefing session will be held on the Etoos YouTube channel for 90 minutes from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM on the same day.
The Etoos channel address will be individually provided on the day to examinees and parents who submitted the briefing session participation application form through pre-registration starting from December 3rd.
Park Jung-seo, head of the Etoos Career and Admission Center, will serve as the lecturer at the regular admission briefing session and provide detailed information on the analysis data of this year’s CSAT, characteristics and prospects of the 2021 regular admission, and university-specific application strategies.
In addition, materials analyzing cases of acceptance and rejection for applicants who applied through regular admission will be provided to help examinees with their university entrance.
A Nam-gu official stated, “Due to COVID-19 variables, examinees and parents are expected to face greater difficulties and confusion in gathering information than ever before for this year’s CSAT. We will ensure that useful information is provided to examinees and parents in the district through the online briefing session.”
