Gangdong-gu Selects Recommended Candidates for 7th Land Supply in Godeok Biz Valley... 5 Companies Chosen for Self-Sufficient Facility Land Supply in Godeok Biz Valley... Land Supply Contracts to be Signed in January Next Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangdong-gu (District Mayor Lee Jeong-hoon) announced the selection of the 7th land supply recommendation candidates for self-sufficient facility sites within Godeok Biz Valley on the 8th.
This land supply recommendation announcement targeted a total of 7 plots: 6 plots (5,648㎡) in Self-sufficient Zone 1 and 1 plot (1,633㎡) in Self-sufficient Zone 4 within the 6 self-sufficient land zones in Godeok Biz Valley.
With interest from various companies, the recruitment period lasted 60 days, closing for business plan submissions on the 23rd of last month.
After holding the 'Gangdong-gu Corporate Attraction Evaluation Committee' and evaluating the submitted business plans, 5 companies were selected as recommendation candidates.
For Self-sufficient 1-1 plot, Green Store, a health food manufacturing and biological/bio-material R&D company, was selected; for 1-2 plot, Aju Design Group, an interior design (ICT convergence space design) company; for 1-3 plot, Hunesion, a software development and supply company; for 1-5 plot, Donghae Comprehensive Engineering Corporation, a comprehensive engineering service company; and for Self-sufficient 4-2 plot, Ilhwa, a health product and pharmaceutical manufacturing and R&D company, was selected.
The 2 plots not selected this time (Self-sufficient 1-4, 1-6) will be re-announced for land supply in the first half of next year.
The selected companies will be recommended to Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation and are scheduled to sign land supply contracts in January next year. Since external experts conducted detailed and objective evaluations of corporate capacity, business plans, and community contribution plans, the selected companies are expected to be sound and excellent enterprises in their respective industries, contributing to the development of Gangdong-gu's regional economic base.
Lee Jeong-hoon, Mayor of Gangdong-gu, stated, "Godeok Biz Valley is Gangdong-gu's largest development project that will invigorate the entire region," and added, "We will do our utmost to ensure that the creation of Godeok Biz Valley, a growth engine moving from a residential-centered city to an economically independent city, proceeds without any setbacks."

Meanwhile, 17 companies (31 companies including consortiums) and knowledge industry centers selected as land supply candidates for the 1st to 6th self-sufficient facility sites in Godeok Biz Valley have completed land supply contract signings with Seoul Housing and Communities Corporation.
