View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yoo Seong-hoon) will operate two additional 'Temporary Screening Clinics' for COVID-19 testing for three weeks from December 14 to January 3 next year to respond to the increased demand for COVID-19 treatment and specimen collection and to block asymptomatic infections.
The 'Temporary Screening Clinics' will be set up at two locations: Pilsung Apartment in Siheung 1-dong and the parking lot of Doksan Health Branch Office in Doksan 3-dong. They will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays (including weekends), and any resident who wants to get tested, even without symptoms, can receive a free test.
Additionally, to prevent avoidance of testing, the tests will be conducted anonymously by providing only personal mobile phone numbers.
The district will assign a basic team of 2 to 3 medical personnel responsible for specimen collection at each screening clinic, along with 3 administrative staff members in charge of temperature measurement, epidemiological investigation, and guidance. They are also reviewing support methods if additional personnel are needed.
