Yeonggwang-gun's 'e-Mobility Current Projects' Gain Momentum
Secured 38.7 Billion Won in National Funding
[Yeonggwang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seong-jeong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) is expected to gain momentum in promoting e-mobility pending projects by securing 38.7 billion KRW in national budget related to e-mobility for next year's government projects.
The county announced on the 14th that it secured a total of 38.7 billion KRW, including 31.7 billion KRW for 8 major pending projects and 7 billion KRW for 3 new projects.
It is the result of busy efforts such as establishing strategies to secure next year's government budget, holding briefing sessions on national subsidy requests, and frequently visiting the National Assembly and the Ministry of Strategy and Finance to actively explain the necessity of the projects.
The major pending projects include securing 31.7 billion KRW in national funds for 8 projects such as ▲Future Mobility User Experience Lab Enhancement Infrastructure Project (4.1 billion KRW) ▲Micro Electric Vehicle Industry Promotion Service Support Demonstration Project (3.9 billion KRW) ▲Development of Open Shared Platform for Electric Vehicles to Support Small and Medium Enterprises (9 billion KRW) ▲High Safety Evaluation Infrastructure for Power Systems of Mobile Converged Devices (3.8 billion KRW).
The new projects include securing 7 billion KRW in national funds for 3 projects: ▲Development and Demonstration of Core Technologies for Personal Mobility Platform (3 billion KRW) ▲Establishment of Future Vehicle Electromagnetic Compatibility Certification Evaluation System (3 billion KRW) ▲Establishment of e-Mobility Process Advancement Infrastructure Project (1 billion KRW), which is expected to create greater synergy by linking with existing projects through new e-mobility initiatives.
The county plans to lead Yeonggwang's future by attracting about 100 related companies and creating 2,000 jobs by 2025 based on a four-stage plan covering e-mobility infrastructure establishment, industry promotion, industry expansion, and industry convergence.
