Chosun University Job Center Plays Key Role as 'Interview' Problem Solver for Job Seekers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] The ‘Interview Consulting Program for Document Screening Passers,’ an advanced program of Chosun University’s University Job Center, is gaining positive responses as it has led many participants to pass their interviews.
According to Chosun University on the 14th, this program conducts ‘mock interviews’ for students who have passed the document screening stage in company or institution recruitment, and provides individual interview consulting. More than 120 individual consultations have been completed to date.
This time, about 40 interview passers were produced, recording a pass rate close to 40% overall.
The university explained that participants improved their interview skills by experiencing mock interviews with professional consultants before their target company interviews, learning expected questions, and receiving feedback.
Students unanimously said that they were able to calmly answer questions similar to or in the spirit of the expected questions they had prepared during the actual interviews.
This year, in preparation for the COVID-19 situation, video interview consulting via ZOOM and telephone counseling were actively conducted.
Students wishing to participate in this program can apply through the Chosun University Student Integrated Support System.
