He added, "The National Assembly must take the lead in the full-scale battle against COVID-19. There can be no exceptions," emphasizing, "The decision to end the unlimited debate on the National Intelligence Service Act yesterday was a preemptive measure to prepare for the emergency situation of COVID-19."
He continued, "What the National Assembly should do now is to focus on quarantine and damage support to protect the lives and health of the people," and stated, "The Democratic Party will take the lead in COVID-19 quarantine."
Floor Leader Kim said, "The Democratic Party will cancel events and gatherings of its members until the situation stabilizes, minimize attendance at internal meetings such as the floor countermeasure meetings, and conduct them online."
