Jindo-gun to Complete 5 Urban Planning Road Lines by 2023

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Jindo-gun, Jeollanam-do, is investing 11.6 billion KRW to open five urban planning road routes for the balanced development of the Jindo-eup area.
According to Jindo-gun on the 14th, by 2023, five routes will be completed in the Jindo-eup area, including Gungang Park-Senior Welfare Center, Eup Police Substation-Okju Villa, (Old) Cultural Center-Hyanggyo, Sajung-ri area, and Buksan-ri area.
So far, sections such as Jjoksa Intersection∼Orijeong Intersection (1.54 km), Cheolma Square∼Arirang Intersection (850 m), and Ssangjeong∼Namdong (847 m) have been opened.
The opening of urban planning roads is expected to greatly contribute not only to alleviating traffic inconvenience but also to revitalizing the local economy by expanding social infrastructure in the Jindo-eup area.
The county plans to secure a budget in the long term, as infrastructure such as roads and transportation must be established to attract population inflow.
