[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 12th, a total of five confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported, including one from the Water Reuse Planning Division at Seoul City Hall and one from the Central Waterworks Office.
Seoul City announced that three employees tested positive the previous day, including one from the Hangang Project Headquarters and one from the Public Development Planning Team (9th floor of City Hall), with two additional cases reported on the day, bringing the total to five confirmed COVID-19 cases.
In particular, the employee from the Water Reuse Planning Division is believed to have been infected by his wife, and all employees of the Water Circulation Safety Bureau on the 8th floor of the Seosomun Building have undergone testing and entered self-quarantine.
Accordingly, Seoul City is currently holding an emergency meeting chaired by Acting Mayor Seo Jeong-hyeop to devise countermeasures against COVID-19.
