One Additional COVID-19 Case Confirmed at Hyundai Motor Jeonju Plant
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] The Jeollabuk-do health authorities announced on the 13th that one employee at Hyundai Motor Company's Jeonju plant tested positive for the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The confirmed case showed symptoms such as chills on the 9th and underwent a COVID-19 test on the 12th, which came back positive. As a result, the cumulative number of confirmed cases related to Hyundai Motor Company's Jeonju plant has increased to 23.
Since the 5th, additional COVID-19 cases have emerged at the Hyundai Motor Jeonju plant, leading to 2,055 employees and subcontractor workers undergoing COVID-19 diagnostic tests yesterday. Except for the newly confirmed case, all 2,054 individuals tested negative.
