Youth Housing Near Seocho Gyodae Station Transit Area to Open... 80 Units Planned
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] A transit-oriented youth housing complex with 80 households will be established near Gyodae Station in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
On the 13th, Seoul City announced that on the 11th, it held the 10th Urban Architecture Joint Committee Transit-Oriented Youth Housing Authorization Subcommittee and approved a revised district unit plan decision (amendment) for the transit-oriented youth housing project in Seocho-dong 1673-3, Seocho-gu. Once the district unit plan is officially decided and announced, the youth housing project will be allowed at the site.
The transit-oriented youth housing targets young people aged 19 to 39, providing rental housing at prices lower than the surrounding market rates, along with community facilities such as meeting rooms and study cafes. Seoul City expects this to contribute to housing stability for youth and revitalization of the area. The relevant district office will proceed with the building permit procedures going forward.
