Hana Bank Wins Grand Prize in Mobile Web Information Service Category at Web Award Korea 2020
Awarded the Grand Prize in the Information Service Category for the New Non-Face-to-Face Account Opening Service Mobile Web Sector
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Hana Bank announced on the 11th that its non-face-to-face account opening service won the grand prize in the information service category of the mobile web division at the 'Web Award Korea 2020' hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association, held at Lotte Tower on Olympic-ro, Seoul.
Web Award Korea 2020 is the most prestigious web evaluation awards ceremony in Korea, where a panel of over 4,000 domestic internet experts selects and awards the most innovative and excellent websites in the country each year.
Hana Bank's non-face-to-face account opening service, which won the grand prize in the information service category of the mobile web division, allows users to start banking transactions easily in just 3 minutes anytime and anywhere with only a smartphone and an ID card.
In August this year, the service was completely revamped with a UI/UX focused on user experience, and thanks to the convenience of being able to open accounts and use smartphone banking services without visiting a branch, the number of users increased by more than 40% compared to the previous year.
