[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] The Ministry of Justice's disciplinary committee for prosecutors has dismissed all recusals filed by Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-yeol's side.
According to the legal community on the 10th, after internal discussions, the disciplinary committee dismissed the recusals filed by Prosecutor General Yoon's side. Previously, Yoon's side filed recusals against four members: Lee Yong-gu, Deputy Minister of Justice; Shim Jae-cheol, Director of the Prosecutor's Office; and two external members, Professor Jeong Han-jung of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies Law School and Professor Ahn Jin of Chonnam National University Law School.

However, Director Shim voluntarily filed a recusal and withdrew from the disciplinary committee during this process. The disciplinary committee reportedly informed Yoon's side that they were "abusing the right to file recusals" as the reason for dismissal.
