The Dow Jones Sustainability Index is a sustainability management indicator announced annually by the U.S. S&P Dow Jones and Swiss RobecoSAM, comprehensively considering economic, environmental, and social aspects for over 2,500 global companies with the highest market capitalization worldwide.
Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance received high evaluations in business conduct codes and environmental management, and for the second consecutive year, it was the only domestic insurance company selected for the DJSI World Index.
The DJSI World Index is awarded only to the top 10% of all target companies, with only 17 insurance companies worldwide, including Zurich and Allianz, included.
In addition, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance has also acquired the Asia Pacific Index for eight consecutive years and the Korea Index for 12 consecutive years.
