With this contest selection, the county will invest a total project cost of 4 billion KRW (including 2 billion KRW of national funds) over five years starting next year to promote an octopus resource recovery project in the Tando Bay area.
Through this project, it is expected to revitalize the local economy as well as increase fishermen's income by creating a mudflat spawning ground for mother octopuses and improving the habitat environment.
