Yoon Guk-hyun (68 years old), the village head, stated, "Even if it is a small thing, I want to share with neighbors in need," and expressed his wish to "help ensure that the underprivileged in the area can have a warm winter."
Lee Seung-ok, the county governor who attended the donation ceremony, said, "Despite poor crop yields this year due to various factors such as typhoons, I thank village head Yoon Guk-hyun for entrusting rice for neighbors in need," and added, "Although the social atmosphere is shrinking due to the resurgence of COVID-19, I believe such warm hearts will be a great strength to overcome the crisis."
