NH Investment & Securities Wins Top Award for Retirement Pension Excellence
[Asia Economy Reporter Kum Boryeong] NH Investment & Securities has emerged as a leader in the retirement pension sector, operating a 'Pension Customer Management Center' since the second half of last year.
The NH Investment & Securities Pension Customer Management Center is staffed with a total of 12 pension specialists. Here, they respond to inquiries from customers with defined contribution (DC) retirement pensions and individual retirement pensions (IRP), as well as provide product guidance and consultations to customers holding maturing products or cash assets. Based on the consultation, they deliver information such as product and portfolio design tailored to investment preferences and tax-saving strategy recommendations. Customized services are provided in coordination with branch private bankers (PBs).
When product yields are too low, practical management is conducted to improve returns. Those enrolled in DC and IRP retirement pensions must manage their retirement funds directly, but due to practical difficulties, management by pension service providers is often necessary. In addition, the Pension Customer Management Center provides customers with materials such as the '100-Year Life Pension White Paper' created by NH Investment & Securities’ 100-Year Life Research Institute.
The center also plays a role in delivering useful information such as non-face-to-face investment seminars and content related to retirement preparation. An NH Investment & Securities official emphasized, "We are strengthening services for DC and IRP and striving to improve customer satisfaction and returns."
