Samsung C&T, Regular Executive Personnel Changes... 29 Executives Promoted Including 6 Vice Presidents

[Asia Economy Reporter Su-yeon Woo] Samsung C&T promoted a total of 29 executives, including 6 vice presidents, on the 9th.

On this day, Samsung C&T announced the promotion of 6 vice presidents: 3 in the Construction division, 1 in the Fashion division, and 2 in the Resort division.

In the Construction division, Executive Directors Byeong-il Kang, Jae-ho Kim, and Gyu-jong Song were promoted to Vice Presidents. Vice President Kang recently led the Samsung C&T EPC Competitiveness Enhancement Task Force, Vice President Kim is serving as the head of Samsung C&T ENG Center, and Vice President Song is working as the head of the Management Support Office.

In the Fashion division, Vice President promotion recipient Jun-seo Lee is serving as the head of the Shanghai branch of the Fashion division. In the Resort division, Vice President Il-ho Noh is the head of the Resort HR Support Team as well as the Wellstory Team, and Vice President Byung-seok Jeong served as the head of the Resort Business Department.

Meanwhile, in this year's Samsung C&T executive promotions, Executive Director promotions included 3 in the Trading division, 4 in Construction, and 1 in Resort, while Managing Director promotions included 4 in Trading, 10 in Construction, and 1 in Fashion.

Samsung C&T explained the background of the personnel changes, stating, "We conducted executive promotions based on a performance-oriented personnel policy and focused on highly skilled talents. In particular, we promoted individuals with capabilities and leadership to senior executives to strengthen the pool of potential top management candidates."
