On the 9th, Pocheon-si announced, "The '2020 National Sports Center Zero Energy Facility Construction Project' contest hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has finally selected the 'Pocheon-si Care Integrated Center Construction Project.' As a result, Pocheon-si will receive an additional 1 billion KRW in support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism."
The Zero Energy Facility Construction Project is a project to lead the green transition of living infrastructure by creating National Sports Centers as zero-energy eco-friendly facilities.
The city plans to invest a total project cost of approximately 17.3 billion KRW (6 billion KRW from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 1.5 billion KRW from the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and 9.8 billion KRW from local government funds) to build the 'Pocheon-si Care Integrated Center,' which will obtain zero-energy building certification by utilizing new and renewable energy, aiming for completion in 2023.
The 'Pocheon-si Care Integrated Center Construction Project' is a project currently underway, selected as part of the 2020 Living SOC Project by the Presidential Committee on Balanced National Development.
