[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) has decided to provide 500,000 KRW in public utility fee support per business to local small business owners severely affected by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and will accept applications from the 14th until January 20 of next year.
The support targets small business owners with annual sales under 200 million KRW who opened their business before June 30. Businesses in restricted sectors for the Small and Medium Business Development Fund loan support, such as entertainment bars and real estate rental businesses, are excluded.
First-time applicants must prepare their ID card, business registration certificate, bankbook copy, proof of sales, and evidence of regular employees, and submit their application at the Academy Education Center in the basement level 1 of the District Office’s second annex, following a 5-day rotation system based on the last digit of their birth year.
Small business owners who have previously received the ‘Seoul City Self-Employed Survival Fund’ can apply by simply providing brief personal information on the Gangnam District Office website.
Inquiries can be made through the Gangnam-gu Self-Employed Public Utility Fee Support Call Center.
