'Another Infection Route Unknown' 1 More COVID-19 Case in Gwangju... 6 Cases in Two Days
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] One additional COVID-19 case with an unknown infection route has been confirmed in Gwangju.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 8th, Mr. A, residing in Yangsan-dong, Buk-gu, was diagnosed with COVID-19 in the afternoon and registered as case number 762 in the region.
It is known that Mr. A underwent testing after recently developing symptoms. The infection route is under investigation.
Over the past two days, a total of six confirmed cases with unidentified infection routes have been reported in the Gwangju area. Three secondary infections from contact with these individuals have also been confirmed.
