Imsil-gun Noil Job Project Participants Donate Activity Fee Scholarships, Creating Warmth
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Nosik] Elderly participants in the senior job program in Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, have donated the activity fees they received as scholarships to foster local talent, creating a heartwarming impression.
According to Imsil-gun on the 8th, the Imsil Senior Club handed over a scholarship of 8,701,000 KRW to Shim Min, the chairman of the Imsil-gun Aehyang Scholarship Foundation and the county governor, requesting that it be used to nurture local talent.
The donated funds were collected by pooling a portion of the monthly activity fees received by participants in the Imsil Senior Club's senior job program. This marks the fifth consecutive year since 2016 that scholarships have been donated, serving as a model for the local community.
Kim Yunho, director of the Imsil Senior Club, said, "This year as well, the donation was made through the voluntary contributions of our members. We hope that through this donation, the joy of sharing is felt and that our hearts are conveyed, even if just a little, to the local talents who will lead the future."
