Haman Chilwon Library Ensures Residents' Reading Life Through 'Book Drive-Thru'
From the 7th until the end of temporary closure
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Chilwon Library, operated by Haman County in Gyeongnam, will resume its 'Book Drive-Thru' service starting from the 7th.
Previously, Chilwon Library had decided to temporarily close urgently due to the resurgence of COVID-19 and the escalation of social distancing measures.
By resuming the Book Drive-Thru, the library aims to minimize the reading activity gap for local residents during the temporary closure and to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) into the region.
The service period is from the 7th until the end of the temporary closure.
Applications can be made through a separate bulletin board titled 'Book Drive-Thru Loan' on the Chilwon Library website, and books can be picked up the following day.
Up to 5 books can be borrowed per person, and applications can be submitted from Monday to Thursday, between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
When picking up books, borrowers must bring their membership card and collect the books between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. from Tuesday to Friday on the designated pickup day.
Returned books can be placed in the unmanned return box.
