Haman-gun Cancels All Year-End Events Amid Severe COVID-19 Spread
"Actively Cooperate with 'Pause' for Myself, Family, and Neighbors" Request
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Haman-gun, Gyeongnam Province, is canceling all major year-end and New Year events due to the continuous spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
A county official stated that this decision was made out of concern that damage could increase during the winter season nationwide, when the virus's survival and spread become more active.
Accordingly, various year-end events such as sports organizations' year-end gatherings like 'Night of Footballers' and 'Night of Volleyball Unity,' as well as the 'Year-end Night for Businesspeople' hosted by the Haman Chamber of Commerce, have also been canceled.
