[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Gwangju Global Motors Co., Ltd. (GGM) has announced the final successful candidates for the 5th technical experienced employee recruitment.
According to GGM on the 8th, the final successful candidates for the 5th experienced employee open recruitment, which began last October, are 60 people across 13 fields including the Production Headquarters and Production Quality Headquarters.
The 5th technical experienced employee open recruitment attracted 1,004 applicants for a total of 70 positions, recording a high competition rate of 14.3 to 1.
GGM plans to re-announce and select candidates later for some recruitment fields where suitable candidates were not found.
The experienced employee selection process was conducted through outsourcing to a professional recruitment agency, and GGM explained that it was carried out in a blind recruitment manner to enhance transparency and fairness.
Also, to prevent the spread of COVID-19, strict compliance with social distancing guidelines was enforced by limiting indoor gathering numbers to fewer than 10 people per screening stage, and thoroughly observing mask-wearing, temperature checks, hand washing, and disinfection.
Personality and organizational adaptation tests were also conducted online.
The personnel selected this time will be the first technical recruitment for mass automobile production scheduled for September next year, and are expected to be assigned to their respective workplaces from mid-this month.
