IBK Industrial Bank Donates 500 Million Won in Medical Expenses to Families of SME Workers
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Sun-mi] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 8th that it has provided 500 million KRW in medical expenses to 163 families of SME workers suffering from rare and intractable diseases.
To prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the medical expenses were delivered without a separate event in accordance with the social distancing level 2.5 guidelines.
Since 2006, IBK Industrial Bank has supported over 2,800 families of workers battling rare and intractable diseases with 12 billion KRW in medical expenses, and provided scholarships totaling 15.2 billion KRW to more than 8,900 children of workers from financially disadvantaged backgrounds to improve the welfare of SME workers.
