Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Selects 20 Construction Innovation SMEs for Comprehensive Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo In-ho] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 8th that it has identified 20 construction innovation small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and will provide comprehensive support including technology development and domestic and overseas market expansion.
The companies selected as construction innovation leading enterprises are expected to grow into "small but strong" companies and become icons of construction innovation that will lead the development of the construction industry.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport received applications from small and medium construction companies for four weeks starting October 26 and finally selected the target companies through the evaluation of the Construction Innovation Leading Enterprise Selection Committee.
The 20 selected companies are ▲ domestic market entrants: Suyeong Logiccon, Gaseol Safety ENC, Seongil Development, Bniel Nature, Myungdu General Construction, Taeyoung Ganggeon ▲ overseas market entrant: RNB ENC ▲ technology development: Gaon Tech, Gangwon VIP System, Phoenix, Sera General Construction, Korea Landscape Development ▲ star companies: Towng ENC, TH Industrial Development, Seokjeong Construction, Samsong Magma, Gangneung Construction, Yoonseong Construction, Design Cube Company, Jaini CEL.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to promote specialized support in specific fields to enhance competitiveness by sector. For the domestic market entry sector, support will be provided through mutual cooperation evaluation bonus points (3 points), employment evaluation bonus points (0.5 points), and certification systems (KISCON corporate information disclosure).
For the overseas market entry sector, support includes feasibility and business analysis (KIND), market development support (Overseas Construction Association), and consulting (Overseas Construction Association and law firms).
For technology development, support will be provided through residence support at the "Smart Construction Support Center" to provide a startup ecosystem platform and preferential selection for the "demand-based technology commercialization support project" to provide demand for innovative technologies.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport plans to hold a meeting with the selected companies at the end of this month to gather opinions related to the construction innovation leading SME project.
