Woori Card Collaborates with CU Convenience Store to Launch Two Types of 'Daengdaengnyangi Hot Packs'
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Woori Card announced on the 8th that it will release two types of ‘Card-ui Jeongseok Daengdaengnyangi Hot Packs’ through a brand collaboration with CU convenience stores operated by BGF Retail.
This collaboration applied the design of Woori Card’s pet family specialized product ‘Card-ui Jeongseok Daengdaengnyangi’ to the hot pack, one of the main winter cold protection items. The card’s characters were used to highlight a cute and familiar image.
Along with the product launch, a discount event is also underway. Throughout December, customers who purchase the product with Woori Card (excluding corporate and gift cards) can receive a 30% instant discount. The maximum discount amount per transaction is up to 5,000 KRW.
The Card-ui Jeongseok Daengdaengnyangi product offers benefits specialized for pet-related industries. It provides a 10% discount at pet supply shops, grooming shops, animal hospitals, Mollie’s Pet Shop located in E-Mart and Traders, and Interpark Pet, Interpark’s specialized online pet mall.
A Woori Card representative said, “We plan to actively pursue innovative brand collaborations with various industries to form a customer-friendly brand image beyond just a simple payment method.”
