KOTRA Hosts '2020 Promising Fields Overseas Employment Interview Session'
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] KOTRA announced on the 8th that it will hold the '2020 Promising Fields Overseas Employment Interview (Online Job Fair 2020)' for two days starting from the 9th, in collaboration with the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Human Resources Development Service of Korea.
This is the third 'Overseas Employment Interview' hosted by KOTRA since the outbreak of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Fourteen companies from nine countries including Japan, Malaysia, Germany, Canada, and Australia will participate in recruitment. By job category, positions include office management (47%), service (17%), sales (14%), IT (10%), research (6%), and technical (6%), with a total of 79 vacancies.
A total of 87 video interviews will be conducted between job seekers who passed the document screening and recruiting companies. HR representatives will conduct interviews locally, while job seekers will participate from KOTRA's Cyber Trade Consultation Room or their homes. To enhance interview outcomes, KOTRA provided 'AI Interview Simulation' and 'Foreign Language Interview Coaching' prior to the actual interviews, helping job seekers become familiar with the video interview environment and prepare independently through self-assessment.
On the 9th, a 'Corporate Recruitment Briefing' will also be held, where HR representatives from global companies such as Roche, IBM, and the Japanese listed company HORIBA will provide information on job roles and working conditions.
