It is scheduled to be addressed by the committee on the morning of the 8th.
According to the National Assembly's Legislation and Judiciary Committee, the adjustment committee for the Public Officials Crime Investigation Office Act includes Democratic Party floor leader Baek Hye-ryun and members Park Beom-gye and Kim Yong-min. The People Power Party has appointed floor leader Kim Do-eup and member Yoo Sang-beom. For the non-negotiating party quota, Yoon Ho-jung, the chair of the Judiciary Committee, designated Choi Kang-wook of the Open Democratic Party.
The adjustment committee for the Commercial Act amendment bill consists of Baek, Park, and Song Ki-heon from the Democratic Party; Kim Do-eup and Yoo Sang-beom from the People Power Party; and Choi from the non-negotiating party quota. The agenda adjustment committee is intended to provide a period to reconcile major differences between the ruling and opposition parties on bills and is composed equally of members from both sides within the Judiciary Committee. The Public Officials Crime Investigation Office Act adjustment committee will convene at 9:00 a.m. on the 8th, and the Commercial Act adjustment committee will meet at 9:30 a.m.

Earlier, the People Power Party requested referral to the adjustment committee to prevent the Democratic Party from unilaterally passing bills within the Judiciary Committee subcommittee. In the adjustment committee, if two-thirds of the six members approve, the bill can be passed. The approved bill is then immediately submitted to the plenary session. Although the People Power Party chose the agenda adjustment committee to delay the bill's passage, the ruling party intends to accelerate the process regardless of the committee. The People Power Party is considering obstruction tactics such as a filibuster (legal parliamentary procedure obstruction).
