Renault Samsung Motors Wins Grand Prizes in 'Web Award Korea 2020' and 'Smart App Award 2020' Categories
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] Renault Samsung Motors announced on the 7th that its ‘XM3 Microsite’ and ‘MY Renault Samsung App’ won grand prizes in their respective categories at the ‘Web Award Korea 2020’ and ‘Smart App Award 2020,’ hosted by the Korea Internet Professionals Association.
The ‘Web Award Korea 2020’ and ‘Smart App Award 2020’ are award ceremonies where a panel of over 4,000 internet experts selects the most innovative and outstanding websites and apps.
In particular, Renault Samsung Motors also won the top prize in the category, the ‘Facebook Innovation Award,’ for its official Facebook page at the ‘Social i-Award 2020’ held last September, which honors excellent social internet services. Additionally, Renault Samsung Motors and the Renault brand received awards in a total of six social channel categories including Facebook, Instagram, and blogs, achieving the remarkable feat of winning awards in web, app, and social categories this time.
Renault Samsung Motors’ XM3 Microsite is a ‘digital showroom’ concept site tailored for the contactless era. It offers a user-centered UI design and 3D VR content that provides an experience as if visiting an offline vehicle showroom, and is structured to enable easy and convenient vehicle purchases, earning high scores from the evaluation panel.
The MY Renault Samsung app adds connected services to the existing vehicle management and membership features, allowing customers to integrate and use various vehicle-related services within a single app, which received high praise.
