Lotte Outlet Gwangju Suwan Selected as the Region's First Company Recognized for 'Social Contribution'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Shin Dong-ho] Lotte Outlet Gwangju Suwan Branch (Manager Lee Chung-yeol) has been recognized for its contribution to community service and economic revitalization.
Lotte Outlet Gwangju Suwan Branch announced on the 6th that it was selected as the first company in the region to be recognized under the 'Community Contribution Recognition System.'
This recognition is also the first case certified among all Lotte Shopping stores.
The 'Community Contribution Recognition System' is a program jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare to discover and acknowledge companies and institutions that have made efforts to solve community problems and revitalize the local area.
Since 2017, Lotte Outlet Gwangju Suwan Branch has carried out various social contribution activities such as producing braille newspapers for the visually impaired, volunteering to assist local farms with labor, and conducting environmental cleanup campaigns.
