According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 5th, a resident of Buk-gu, Yudong, tested positive for COVID-19 and was classified as Gwangju case number 741.
It was confirmed to be related to Seongnam case number 724, increasing the total number of Gwangju cases linked to Seongnam 724 to seven.
On the previous day, five people, including the parents, sibling, and maternal grandmother of Seongnam 724, as well as one secondary infection case, tested positive, and two more cases were confirmed on this day.
