NC, Yoon Song-yi Leads Corporate Mission Change After 12 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] NCSoft has changed its corporate mission for the first time in 12 years.
According to NCSoft on the 4th, Yoon Song-yi, Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), announced the new mission 'PUSH, PLAY' at the town hall meeting held on the 19th of last month. NCSoft holds a town hall meeting once every quarter, attended by CEO Kim Taek-jin.
'Push, Play' means 'to leap over, to imagine' in Korean. NCSoft explained that 'Push' represents the spirit of challenge to achieve technological innovation, and 'Play' signifies the imagination that brings about innovation in user experience.
This mission change was led by CSO Yoon. At the town hall meeting, CSO Yoon said, "During the process of renewing the CI (corporate identity), we confirmed that the numerous values constituting NCSoft ultimately aim for 'technology and innovation,'" and explained, "'Push' and 'Play' represent the process of pursuing joy through technology and imagination, and the joy itself that we offer to our customers."
