According to the financial sector on the 4th, KB Financial has produced and distributed a 2021 desk calendar featuring the character 'Star Friends.' The group is also actively utilizing the character on social networking services (SNS) such as the group's and affiliates' Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. KB Financial plans to actively apply the newly created representative character across all affiliates to enhance corporate image and expand customer touchpoints.
Star Friends consists of five animal and vegetable friends who gathered on Earth from different stars to find their dreams: Kiki (Moon Rabbit), Ageo (Ugly Duckling), Bibi (Teddy Bear), Ramu (Llama), and Kolli (Broccoli). Each character has a distinct personality?Kiki with bulldozer-like drive, Ageo full of clumsy charm, kind-hearted Bibi, free-spirited Ramu, and warm-natured Kolli?but they share a story of believing that together they can achieve their dreams.
After first introducing Star Friends on its website in October with character introductions and stories, KB Financial has been expanding customer touchpoints through calendar production and SNS promotions. The new characters have also been placed in meeting rooms used for external meetings at KB Financial's integrated Yeouido headquarters. Star Friends is the result of over a year of review and discussion on the character business that began at the end of last year.
