iOne Solution Wins Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at Invention Patent Exhibition with New Concept Music Educational Tool 'Dodaland'
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] Iwon Solution announced on the 3rd that it won the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at the 2020 Invention Patent Exhibition with the new concept music educational tool 'Dodaland'.
'Dodaland' received the Minister of Education Award for winning the 2019 Meister Invention Competition, and once again demonstrated the excellence of invention product companies in the education field by winning the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award at this Invention Patent Exhibition.
Hosted by the Korean Intellectual Property Office and organized by the Korea Invention Promotion Association, the 2020 Korea Intellectual Property Exhibition is being held until the 4th at COEX Hall C in Seoul and online. The Korea Intellectual Property Exhibition is the largest domestic intellectual property exhibition, consisting of the Invention Patent Exhibition, Trademark & Design Rights Exhibition, and Seoul International Invention Fair.
The new concept music educational tool ‘Dodaland’ is composed of over 100 different blocks. Through block play, children can create music by themselves. The stacked blocks are expressed as sheet music in the dedicated Dodaland APP.
The music blocks include Korean and English solf?ge syllables, as well as Braille notation for the visually impaired. It can be used by various age groups, including young children, elementary students, and elderly people for dementia prevention programs.
Lee Won-ik, CEO of Iwon Solution, said, “The music educational tool 'Dodaland', which combines 'music that awakens sensitivity and creativity', 'block play loved by all children', and the recently emerging 'coding' in the education market, has great significance as its excellence was recognized by winning the ministerial award after four years of development.”
He added, “As a convergent 'STEAM toy' that combines difficult music theory and composition with familiar block play and can also be used for coding education, we plan to enter the global education market based on our know-how and technology.”

Meanwhile, Dodaland music blocks are available in three types of kits: Light, Basic, and Advanced, allowing customers to choose according to their preferences and age. Official sales are scheduled for the new semester season early next year, and they can be previewed through the official website.
